This is a used engine computer removed from a 1997 Ram 2500 Cummins diesel truck.  The Mopar part number from the last authorized software update is shown as 56040504AC.  This was removed from a running truck.

This will fit 1997 Ram 2500 or 3500 models with a 5.9L Cummins engine, Federal emissions and an automatic transmission.  If you are not sure whether your truck has California or Federal emissions, please message me with your VIN and I will try to help you determine.
